Setting off from Haynes (around midnight for the bikes) where the workshops were utilised for scrutineering.

The program

12 Morgans, plus a glorious mix of bikes and cars.

I might just just take a ride out in the Plus 8 as I haven't been for a few years now.

I'll get to a stage and think of Budster - he loved it budster probably Slippery Sam and Fingle Bridge, or Simms and Donkey Trot this time.

Re: The green ‘interim’ Plus 4 424 AMX is a well known car that used to belong to Pat Kennet of Derbyshire. Pat did a lot of trialing and PCTs in it with good success. Pat was a motoring journalist & Editor mainly for the Truck magazine.

The number is mounted using the standard wing stay. The flattening you observed is most likely Pickersleigh Rd generated.

Here is a cropped image ( a bit fuzzy but it helps)

Happy to go with you on that Paul, not MMC's finest bit of craftsmanship - I wouldn't let out of my garage it spoils the fabulous curve for which the breed are known - each to their own hey he seems happy with it.

Chagford Drewsteignton area you will be familiar with.

Going to catch the Lands End and Edinburgh is my plan, lovely crowd of people giving it all.
The very best of motor sporting spirit😎

Oh yes I remember that area well, enjoy.

Dave, glad you enjoyed it, I went to Simms around 5 years ago as it is the ballbuster on the Exeter.

Morgan's and average saloon cars take the much easier bypass which comes out immediately to the right of the finish on the brow.
Beetles, Dellow's and those hairdresser XC60's do best of all driven correctly as I said to Alistair you can probably pick one up now for £50.

The lightweight bikes are just made for this environment, I watched a young lad wrestling a Transalp half way that year but by now being sleep deprived he dropped it and the lads on the course helped him back up to the Horsebox (top of the bypass section) for a bap and tea. He carried on I think.

At Simms 3 years or so ago someone rolled an old Classic Ruby and the driver was airlifted out but sadly lost his life.

I love everything about it, meeting the course boys and girls and competitors they are such a lovely set of people and that is why I fancy the Lands End and Edinburgh this year hopefully.

Graham and Alistair interested in either or both this year.
I have brownie points credited apparently the boss told me last night when she enquired as to your wellbeing Graham.
