Hi,

Does anyone have advice on fitting wind deflectors onto a 4/4 2001. I've just bought a pair and have been told of the problems when opening the door when these are fitted. Also the need to cut the screws to the correct length to availed damage to the screen.

I tried to post this once before and it did not appear so apologies if it posted twice.

Thanks

Phil

I originally fitted a pair of Perspex deflectors but found them too much of a pain when opening the doors. I replaced them with some (much more expensive spend ) glass and chrome framed ones from Simmonds, they fit by sliding a plate between the screen frame and support so no need to replace the screws. The big advantage is that they sit insid the door and don't interfere with the opening. Sorry to tell you this now you've bought some hide
