I have a huge pile of magazines building up and not enough time to read them. It's pushed my consumption of "real" literature to the sideline - as a literature lover I always liked to keep up my "serious" reading, but now it's just car magazines and books. I'm starting to feel guilty!

Don't worry, when you are forced to 'self isolate' you can catch up laugh2

I'm just as bad if not worse. I subscribe to Jaguar World, Classic Jaguar, Octane, Magneto, Classic & Sports Cars, Classic Cars, I also get the JDC mag, the JEC mag and Hemmings plus any free offers that appear from the publishers from time to time.
I am addicted just as much as any druggie but at least it is all harmless fun.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

I like the idea of free mags - but how do you get them from amazon prime?

The Readly app has a number of good magazines for just a few quid per month.

I posted this yesterday in another thread but I'll repeat it here. Check if your library has a subscription to any service. I can login to PressReader (www.pressreader.com) with just my library card number. It's got most of the best car mags* plus the daily papers and doesn't cost me a penny. I'm very pleased with that and I'm not even from Yorkshire. smile

*Pressreader doesn't have "The Automobile" sadly, but then neither does Readly.

Well, seems like I'm not the only one then smile But then, Like Cooperman suggests above, with self - isolation I should have plenty of time to read!

We may have to start using our car magazines for toilet roll before long frown

Was a subscriber to Car magazine from the first issue and used to enjoy LJK Setright who was a talented engineer and musician and writer. Get the magazine now as a freeby with the bank account, and its a motoring equivalent of Beano. Written by kiddies for kiddies with endless blurb on German saloon cars and "infotainment" whatever that is.

Get a magazine from the Ferrari owners club - comes with the sub and is boring. Subscribe to Enzo which is excellent.
