Mog on Mull

Great driving experience, single track undulating roads, not too much traffic...............

Fantastic photos. I really must get up there in the Morgan, and I've always wanted to participate in the Classic Malts yacht rally (for those who don't know it - it's a distillery crawl in sailing yachts) so perhaps the ideal thing would be to combine the two; drive up, charter a boat for a couple of weeks for the rally, then drive around for a week before returning home.

Peter nice to see you enjoyed them . Been in the mog club years and I always seem to have a busy life with something happening . Said to my wife before we married life would never be dull .Did not know how true I was often wish I had kept my mouth shut. thumbs

I feel for that old chap Jack. Ulva is a magical place that my wife and always went to every time we were up on Mull. We use to walk and sit for ages in a favourite spot watching for Sea Eagles. I managed to get her back there for one final trip before she died. Not been back since and probably never will as I'd prefer to leave it to my memories.

Jay no need to feel for that old chap he was happy . I could not have lived with myself if I had not got him onto his place of birth . I have a photo of the mog on Mull somewhere in the house taken by my wife and yes those sea eagles are stunning we sat like you did for ages in a quiet spot to catch a quick glimpse , just shows what mog owners have in common , sorry I did not know you are a widower .

Hi John,

Lovely photos, just wondering if you were on your way back last Saturday, as we might have passed you around Loch Lomond?

Jay nailed it when he used the word magical. Some places have a quality which isn't easily defined. Often these seem to be places seem to be rugged and not spoilt but human touch.

Photo 2 is stunning.
