Interesting detail: Look at the photo of the dash of B1798 and the distintive burl in the wood between the glovebox and the switch panel--now go to the "Malvern Arms" forum under "Shiela Hancock's Morgan" and find the photo of Ms Hancock sitting in this same Morgan circa 1969. The burl is very visible in both photos.

The wood grain is beautiful. What year is this, and which version of white is it?

V,
This car was first registered in England on 2 January 1969, so it was made in 1968. I've called it a "69" all these years, following British custom. The original registration book calls the color "cream," but I believe it is Royal Ivory. This is the third re-spray and I've kept the same color, with the exception of changing the wings to black. The ivory color is simply a paint match to the origianl color, not a factory paint, so it may be off a little compared to the factory color.
I've toyed with changing the ivory to a shade lighter, but with the black wings, a whiter color looks like a police car, so I've kept the ivory.
