New Roadster
Picture of the roadster , note the freshly painted floor, could have such a nice car sitting in a shabby garage!

Guys Having got a nice Rosso Red Roadster I need to keep it that way, any advice on polish? I read a test the other day (20 products): Here are the first three: 1. Liqui Moly (polish & wax) 2. Arexons 3. Swissoel (different names for different countries) ... 8. Maquiar's ... 13. Zymoel (different name) Here are the complete results. Unfortunately German but the figures give a good indication: 1 is the best 20 the worst. Complete Test (German)

I had Zymol recommended by the previous owner , they do a Zymol Rouge for non metalic red has anyone used it? Ben will tell you that Zymol is a triumph of marketing. It's not that it isn't a good product, it's just that there are plenty of products (Kin had mentioned a few), that will just as good a job for less money. I tend to favour Meguires. He could well be right Simon, but I think that the finish a polish gives is very much a subjective thing; don't you. Personally, I like the sort of deep polished wet-look that Zymol gives, and as Phil was kind enough to get mine polished with Zymol Vintage for the Classic Show, I was very impressed with the finish and the 'feel' to the paintwork. Certainly, I will specify Vintage when next I get it valeted/detailed, but doubt whether I will buy a tin myself at circa £2k per tin; even if this does include free refills for life.

Brian did you say GBP2,000 a tin! Truly amazed, surely you don't pick-it up at your local Halfords. 'Oh; a chamois and a tin of Zymol please: "American Express" will do nicely Sir!
