Hi there,
My badge was delivered in person today (thanks chaps) and is already fitted, using OZ 4/4's badge bar clip he kindly gave to me.
A stunning looking badge.

Brian Hi Brian, Thanks. The black swan is on the western Australian state flag and in the last couple of years I've been in Perth I don't recall seeing a white swan anywhere only black ones. More here .

Thanks Richard, it just shows my ignorance of Oceania in general, and Australia in particular. We nearly emigrated there many years ago, but chose to be an expat in Africa instead. It didn't seem as permanent a move!  Must make a visit, particularly as by the end of this year it will be the only one of the seven continents we haven't been too. Brian
