How is your case covered Bud? I still haven't resolved how to cover mine yet. Scrub that - I've just read how on another thread.

I'm toying with the idea of buying a Boot-Bag. After spending a certain sum on a decent, waterproof, near indestructable case a few years ago,  won't travel in the Mog for nights away now, so my case is a bit of a waste of money. 2011 LeJog I used an ordinary Samsonite copy - but not waterproof (fortunately, apart from Day 1 when it was inside the car - hood up, torrential conditions), it didn't need to be. But I've a Scottish tour in June...

Steve Simmonds (Simmonds of Malvern) still supplies a Samsonite with mohair cover to match your hood.
The price is rather eye-watering though - I was lucky enough to pick up a used one through the Miscellany small ads a couple of years ago for considerably less than the current prices.

Racking my brains trying to think of the name Neil. Often advertised with a Land Rover wheel on top (with LR attached).  one of my associates has managed it: Peli Case. I'll try to find the model number tonight... Cheers,

I got a tarp from wickes for about a fiver - wrapped it around a regular suitcase - it stood some torrential rain on a european trip a couple of years ago
