Split on speedometer chrome holding ring
Can anyone please help me, as you can see from the attached picture the chrome holding ring on the speedo has split and the gauge turns around in the dashboard everytime I go over a bump in the road, has anyone else had this problem and how do I correct the problem, the car is a 2009 Roadster,

Never seen that before.
The gauge is secured behind the dash with knurled knobs that you can tighten with your finger and thumb. Won't fix the bezel but will stop the rotation!

As written before it is quite easy to dismount the speedometer. I would recommend also to remove the Dashboard what is also not very difficult. I can image that you need a new bezel. The manufacturer has a service department called speedycables ( www.speedycables.com). They should be able to repair the ring. A few weeks ago I paid less than 20 Euro for the same repair on a 52mm VDO clock at a local instrument shop. BR Christian

The triple gauge bezel on my 2009 Plus Four split in the same way...it was replaced FOC at the next service by the factory. They replaced the whole instrument rather than just the bezel.
