First race with Baby Doll in Zandvoort
Baby Doll is very very competitive; but the race results where disappointing because of a malfunction of my transponder in the qualifying (measured 2.25 min. driven 2.12 min., this would have been around 5th position ); the result was starting position 21 in a field of 47 very hard driving competitors; Best race lap 2.09 min, only 3 sec. behind the leader; but I have never driven in Zandvoort and had to lift at the straight because of to much noise. 2.05 min. or even faster is absolutely possible with baby Doll. The next race will be at Spa Francorchamps in June and then I can rev to 8.500 Upm; at Zandvoort I was limited to 7.500 because of problems with the fan belt; the modifying kit is already with Gregory Flaving and will be fixed in a few days.
Thanks to Jeroen who shot the race pictures.

Thanks for sharing your exciting day Guenter - sorry to hear about the telemetry in practise, rest assured you will be back fighting in Spa. I expect you and Baby Doll have a lot of people concerned after your first appearance The pictures are stunning quality, thank you.

Thanks for the photos and race report Guenter....pleased to hear the car went well inspite of transponder problems and fan belt. The Aero Racing SS shed its fan belt racing at Castle Coombe last week end. I know they have different engines although similar.
Look forward to your report and photos from Spa....and good luck for that one....a lovely circuit.

Great series of shots - and it sounds like some extremely competitive driving too.
Have you had to run-in the engine etc?

Guenter, excellent news and great images of your day. Great to hear the car is up there with the best, even with a few technical problems you must be happier than Jensen Button. How did the blue supersport get on. Dave
