Rear fender alignment

Here is a photo to show the alignment of the rear mudguard/fender to the running board.
this is from a 2011 plus 4.

And on my Roadster the two throughbolts were different sizes each side............
I did what any rational OCD practitioner would do. Now the larger diameter bolts are one each side on the inside, and the smaller ones are one each side on the outside. laugh2

Mine is simular but starting to look a little perished. Does the rubber "stopper" just unbolt to be replaced or is there more to it than that?

Guys, please accept my apologies for the confusion.
The photo was posted to show ricks67m, how the rear mudguard should line up with the running board on a classic Morgan.
His posting was under the Classic Morgan section subject -fitting rear fender
Hence the references to fender guitars and rock and roll. smile
