Should I be worried?
Family left very hazy Singapore last week for the hols. I am joining them fairly soon. My wife sent me these photos of my daughter in my Roadster! I guess I have a few years before I have to worry.

Sorry to bring such sorrow on you but you may as well give her the keys now . We can all remember our dad's each year putting us up against the door to see if we had grown above the last years pencil line . Well Jnr used to sneak into the garage jump in the mog and try the drivers seat . One day the air horns blasted there was shouts of joy as she raced in the house to drag me into the garage . Dad I can reach the pedals , she had been doing it over the years and not telling anyone . She changed or should I say she thought I had changed . I had become this old fart who could not drive to old for the mog , she was thinking its mine I will put the old b*gger of driving it for life . I have warned you Jnr moans like hell at me because I dont know a private area to let her have a go , maybe thats a good thing she may like it more than me .

My youngest daughter loved the Morgan at 14. At 18 she won't be seen dead in it - "Dad, people will LOOK". I guess by 21 it'll be different again and she'll want to borrow it.

I had my purple Gilbern Invader when MissW was 7. She hated being seen in it and used to almost crouch on the floor to avoid being seen by her mates.

Hmmm... Got passed by a dark colured Roadster earlier this week. Couldn't really see the driver as she seemed quite short . . . Cheers Jeremy

I suggest a 3 wheeler as an easy (?) start to Morganeering! Regrettably if you live in the UK (or in theory, the rest of the EU) it's by far the hardest way to start your Morgan career. All car tests taken after 18th January are now only valid for four wheels. The absolute minimum age for driving a three wheeler now is 21, and only if you've taken all the motor bike tests at the earlier possible occasion. Or be 24 and go the direct access route. Morgan three wheelers now need a bike licence in the UK. (If you passed your car test prior to that date, don't worry, when you renew your photocard, it will include group A, limited to tricycles.

You have a daughter, trust me as a father of two girls (now 29 and 31) you will have far more to worry about in a few years than whether she wants to drive your roadster

see, a girl = low attention span when it comes to cars. She already sees more promise in a single horse than 200 of them

Changster, in answer to your question "should I be worried?": only if you've left the keys in the Morgan She looks like a young lady with a lot of spirit and the twinkle in her eye seems to say, "I look forward to taking this sports car for a spin"
