JTL, I'm not shy of the old loud pedal either. Mind you anything over 20mpg with my Land Rover is a welcome bonus. My maths are not brilliant so I'll have a recount.
Are Morgan likely to bring out a diesel version in the near future, this could help mpg even more?

A diesel engine, so exposed, would be hideously noisy. Not very sporty either.

Not so much for the later generations of Tdis though. Noise will always be higher than with a petrol, but the performace won't be too far adrift...
