Hi George, I like that idea and did think it was one of the few bits that doesn't 'work' for me. Are the black shadow versions still reflective? Do you have a link to where you sourced them?
Hi Simon,
the indicators look more white with a light black shadow than really "black" and work fine together with the yellow bulbs.
I suppressed all yellow indicators on my car because they would disturb the "all black" look (completed by some chrome/silver details).
=> On the front: white lenses
=> On the wings: white/shadowed lenses
=> On the rear end: red lenses*
(*not strictly street legal but gives the rear end a homogeneous look. I ordered my car without the reflector "torpedos" and added the small/flat reflector "stripes" on the lower end of the rear wings as on the Fourseaters and the early 4/4 Sport)
I sourced them at MORGAN Flaving in July 2011 but donīt know if they still have them in stock (didnīt find them on their website today). I could send them an e-mail to ask - no problem, would be a pleasure to do that for you.
Iīll be back home saturday from business and will have a look to find some pictures showing the lenses. Will post them if I can manage it...
P.S.: I saw on the picture of the wheel that thereīs the "old" MORGAN-wing on the center cap. Is that volitional ("mixture" of different wing-types on the same car...)? Not really an issue, only a detail.
When will you collect Cruella to bring her to her new home? :witch:
Kind regards,
George
