Another photo from Suzuki.
John Hopkins giving it the beans at Jerez.
I also have photo of the grid girls (fully clothed but in lycra) but don't want to upset the Moderators.

Great photo Bud, it is amazing how they keep on the road at that angle!

The most extreme lean angle that I saw recorded on the telemetry was 61 degrees off vertical.

?? I thought the angle of the girls legs quite reasonable myself ....absolutely no reason why they should not stay on the road.

Many of the Promo Girls used to work for us at the Bike and Car Shows, as well as at the circuits.
Apart from most of them being young enough to be my daughter, it is amazing that after a while you tended not to notice how attractive they were.

Fond(?) memories of getting my elbow down occasionally when racing my Suzuki way back when. Did tend to be followed by getting my shoulder, back, legs and other elbow down in quick succession.

The best memories ever of girls at events was the Woolmark Bitish GP at Silverstone in 1971. My first GP, and there were two sets of promo girls. Yardley-BRM, and Gold Leaf Team Lotus. All in white hot pants and knee length white boots, and......just a minute....

Ah yes - I did take a couple of photos, on slides somewhere. There was one Yardley girl who was absolutely gorgeous - long dark hair, a bit like Jean Shrimpton. I was 19, and my brain function was embedded in my groin at the time. What a fantastic day that was. It never seemed as good after that, although there were a couple at the NEC last year head to toe in red lycra............ scared
