Dunhill Petrolhead Wheel Watch
As there is a lot of watch chatter, I thought I'd show this interesting watch off.
It is the limited edition Dunhill Petrolhead Wheel Watch from circa 2005. Dunhill produced 1500 of them and they can with either red or yellow embellishment. The movement is supplied by an ETA 2824-2 with a Dubois-Depraz module for power reserve. The power reserve is in the shape of a petrol gauge and the entire case, with hidden crown, is shaped like a wheel spinner. The case detail is evocative of the diamond pattern used on tactile automotive trim and the case back is finished off with a British Bulldog with driving goggles.
