1979 Plus 8 Rebuild
Didn't go quite as far as lifting the body off, but almost. Rear spring tool pics a bit poor but the tool is easy enough to make with a bit of 1/2" studbar and a half pipe section as a hook. Wedged between the chassis and the spring it can't fly off.
I hope the pics upload OK as this is the first attempt - fingers crossed all will be well.

Thanks for the photo’s Simon.
Very interesting. The ‘rear spring tool’ looks good. One question: What are you going to do about the ½" hole in the thin lower ‘L’ section of the chassis? Weld, plate? Just a question, as I have a similar scenario?
