June is the best month to enjoy the south west for sure. Roads still not too crowded at this time. Try the coast road St Ives to Sennen via Zennor. Also the Dartmouth coast road to Tor-Cross via Street. Then there is Dartmoor of course best seen in early morning light. Park at Batson Creek and walk through Salcombe if you like to watch the jet set boating. Sail racing there at weekends is spectacular.

You're not wrong Graham, particularly with another round of VR going on.
Might have to go back to an earlier / cheaper Mog though...

Planning for 60 = 3 years. My Aussie Mate P Bellenger who was a tennis umpire & famously sent Macenroe off the court (you cannot be serious) insistes 60 is almost too late!!

Peter ran the Melbourne open for many a year.

When I hit 50 it was as though body parts were dropping off so at 56 when I had the chance I jumped ship ... best thing I ever did .... the wife bought a cushion at the time which says.
Retirement: Twice the husband on half the income juggle .

With a colonoscopy due towards the end of June it brings home the old saying "Health is wealth" So off to France in the Aero ASAP and if I have to sell her ...well I always have the landi grin2

Thanks Moggo. Much appreciated and enjoyed!

What was the fishing port with the Arab rigged fishing boats? ( it's Friday night and I can't remember the proper name - but some kind soul will remind me!)

I don't know how I managed to get everything done before I retired. I don't seem to have spare time at all.
