Hi there,
My badge was delivered in person today (thanks chaps) and is already fitted, using OZ 4/4's badge bar clip he kindly gave to me.

An added bit of history on the Western Australia Badge.
The first "meeting" of the club (all two of us) was held at my home in Roleystone (just south of Perth) in 1983. Another Morgan fan (ashamed I can't recall his name) contacted me for a "Moggie chat". He had the badges produced to part fund his planned trip to the UK.
My Morgan 4/4 4 seater registered MOG 002P was sold when I left Aus in 1984.

Your car is now owned by Ron Mitcham and our WA President forwarded your information to him (by post)... Just to clarify the Morgan owners club of Western Australia is long defunct as I discovered when I bought my first mog in 2004 and went looking for a club. I did find the Morgan owners club of Australia which I joined to take total WA membership to about 5 with very little local activity. I have pardon the pun cranked it up to now where of the approx 70 Morgans in WA some 42 are MOCA members and we enjoy about 12 formal runs a year. Over this time I've tracked down & acquired part of the stamping die for the originalMOCWA badge then refurbished for use and have had made a small batch available for our WA members of MOCA. Ron has been mailed your information as he is not on email and his link to the badge is that he loaned me the badge from his car to get the yellow colour match correct. What we found when we did this is that the yellow was peeling and was not enamel as assumed but a plastic vinyl material. Our new ones are enamel and Ron' s is now enamel as well.

Just nipped out to the shops and got talking to a bloke who knew someone who bought a new Mog here. He used it for one and a half years and then emigrated to Oz. He sold the car there for more than he paid for it.

Sounds a bit odd as our aus car compliance rules ADRs require modifications to new mogs evidenced by our inability to import and licence 3 wheelers. So suspect was a much older car. You can get an idea of Aus prices at carsales.com
