Trip to Lotus
Small TM tour of the lotus factory last week with DaveW and son, Richard (Easter) and Graham. Ended of the day with the best part in my view, a tour of Classic Lotus and a nice farewell from Clive Chapman at the end.....who seems so very different to his father! Fabulous atmosphere there, Jim Clarks cars etc and still looked after by his original mechanic who was a fascinating chap to chat to. Drawers full of engineering drawings going back to the start of Lotus and they are still used!

The "old git" in the first photo.....Easter.....is deep in thought. After the trip to the factory he traded in his Roadster for a supercharged Elise! I really considered buying an Evora before my heart was set on a Plus 4. Main reasons for not buying : - needed a (real) 4 seater, - too many curves (almost bubbly), - too much fiber glass. The factory tour is definitely worth it though! MMC SHOULD PAY A VISIT AND BRING BACK THE WATER INGRESS TRIAL MODULE... Just a thought... 
vMog is a 2013 +4/ 4 seater, dark red with saddle brown trim, wooden dashboard and console.

Supercharged Elise traded last month for another Elise, this one from 1996, one of the very early cars, only 18000 miles/one owner

I have to admit to admiring an Evora or two at Williams the other Saturday... Maybe one day, when the used price is low enough...
