SP1 Talk Morgan Pickersleigh Ave visit
Great morning out today (despite early morning rain), so good to see Aeroman (Brian)'s SP1 in the flesh. Super car, lovely TMers and a special thanks to : Brian Voakes (Aeroman) John Stride (Jays) Steve Morris (MD) The Morgan SP1 team (who gave up their Sat morning to come in and chat to us TMers) A couple of photos - others will no doubt post better quality! Cheers All

Totally agree, what a great morning and as good as the photos in Mog Mag were, Brian's SP1 is far better in the flesh, truly a work of art.
Good to meet you all again.

I managed to take the new +4 out and what a lovely car to drive. Plenty of torque and the narrow body a pleasure through the twisty roads.

I managed to take the Auto box +8 out in the driving rain.
Amazing and so, so much nicer than the Aero S2 I drove, which is essentially the same car...very strange.
The power is remarkably controllable, the brakes are great, steering not too light and with an amazing turn in. The ride was remarkable, more like a modern car than a trad Mog, but without losing the "Morgan Essentials". Hitting standing water across the roaf at about 50 the car siimply went through without a twitch or any excitement. Other than the sheet of water that covered the car!
Now, about the price. Another issue.
