Has a lot to Say!
SP1 Talk Morgan Pickersleigh Ave visit

Great morning out today (despite early morning rain), so good to see Aeroman (Brian)'s SP1 in the flesh. Super car, lovely TMers grouphug and a special thanks to :

Brian Voakes (Aeroman)
John Stride (Jays)
Steve Morris (MD)
The Morgan SP1 team (who gave up their Sat morning to come in and chat to us TMers)

A couple of photos - others will no doubt post better quality!

Cheers All

Echoing OldBills comments, and good to meet more TMers and families.

Well we've just got home and what a great day, well at least I enjoyed it tremendously. thumbs Thanks guys for coming, I hoped that you enjoyed it too, some of the distances you covered to be there were amazing, as others have said it was nice to put faces to names on the TM site . grin2

Thanks to John (Jays) for his forbearance, in showing two lots of us unruly TM'ers round the factory. But especially to Steve and his Team for laying on the event, proving bacon and/or sausage butties, shame about the weather though. gloomy

It was great that so many of the craftsmen that built SP1 were able to turn up, I know that I'm getting old oldgit, but aren't they a young, enthusiastic and talented team. flag

Despite the weather some did take advantage of the fact there was a pretty full complement of demonstrators, and it looks like a couple of TM'ers may indulge themselves. They've gone home to get capital expenditure approval I'm told swmbo, though I'll mention no names Peter! quiet

We missed DeanR and the other TM'ers who couldn't make it, sorry guys, but if you've never been round the factory you're missing something. PM Jays and get a trip organised...

I don't know Brian, I think Jays learnt a lot today about where all the good stuff is hidden wink

Great day out and good to see so many TMer attending. Strange wandering around the factory when it was so quiet.

Brian,

Lovely day, great to see you and have a chat, the SP1 looks even better in the flesh than in the pics, and a big thanks to Steve and the crew, especially project team who I enjoyed chatting to about the car, and finally thanks to Jays for his entertaining tour in his unique style (sorry we kept wandering off Jays), a big thumbs

Great shots of what sounds like a fantastic day. I still think that is the most stunning interior that I ever seen.

As per my posting on the original factory thread I just wanted to make sure my thanks weren't missed for this frat day being able to see this spectacular car. So pleased Brian has been able to fulfil his dream. As others have said as good as it looks in the Mog Mag pictures it is even more sensational in reality.

Brian - glad you got your choice of co.our in the end - it really shows it off so well under the different lighting!

Thanks again to Steve Morris and the team for making yesterday happen, great to speak to the. Very proud guys who designed and built the car and Jays as ever for acting schoolmaster stopping us lurking around in dark corners of the factory from discovering any other surprises! happy3

It was good to meet so many TMers to in reality!

Thanks Roger. My main concern with the tours was losing some of you and leaving you trapped in the factory over the weekend. God knows what contraptions you would created by rescue on Monday morning! scared
