SP1 Talk Morgan Pickersleigh Ave visit

Great morning out today (despite early morning rain), so good to see Aeroman (Brian)'s SP1 in the flesh. Super car, lovely TMers grouphug and a special thanks to :

Brian Voakes (Aeroman)
John Stride (Jays)
Steve Morris (MD)
The Morgan SP1 team (who gave up their Sat morning to come in and chat to us TMers)

A couple of photos - others will no doubt post better quality!

Cheers All

Sounds like a great day and I'm sorry to have missed it. Unfortunately I was driving through the Pyrenees where the weather was perfect, the roads winding, and the scenery magnificent. Aw shucks laugh2

Well done Brian and MMC. I look forward to seeing SP1.

I recognise a few faces from those photos grin2

Glad it was such a great day and, again, hats off to Brian for having the vision and MMC for undertaking the project. wine

thanks everyone for a very enjoyable day out, and as others have said, it was good to put faces to their TM handles.

Brian - glad you got your choice of co.our in the end - it really shows it off so well under the different lighting!

Thanks again to Steve Morris and the team for making yesterday happen, great to speak to the. Very proud guys who designed and built the car and Jays as ever for acting schoolmaster stopping us lurking around in dark corners of the factory from discovering any other surprises! happy3

It was good to meet so many TMers to in reality!

What a wonderful morning seeing the SP1, meeting some familiar faces and trying the Aero Supersport. The SP1 is truly wonderful.

Thanks must go to all who organised, particularly Brian, John and Steve and all the staff at Morgan who gave up a Saturday morning to look after us.

Peter I signed your nomination form but did not have my membership number to hand so I've sent it on a PM to you.

Thanks again guys for your kind comments, we had a super time and it was nice to meet some TM'ers who were new to me. smile Head Office enjoyed her spa visit so all in all a great day.

SP1 should have it's loom fitted shortly, and have a couple of other details completed, so will be registered for the road in January 2015 and I'll then start putting some miles on her. woohoo

It will be interesting to see how it performs on the road, but will post a full report once we have done a trip.

P.S. Looking forward to seeing photos of Peter's SP2 project! shocked2

Brian,

the SP2 project us still very secret, I have a photograph of me sitting in the first mock-up and will post shortly.

It represents a radical departure for Morgan, taking them into areas they are still working out how best to deal with.
