mog box
Have been making a lockable box for the Mog over the dark winter days....next step is oil and wax.....and then lining inside....cost appx £110.00 inc a 1928 suitcase from e bay, and about 10 / 11 hours of my labour...beech ply from packing cases, screws found hanging around and dowel and handrails from a marine supplier...should be worth it for the peace of mind with valuables locked away on tours of Europe

Very nice, like the badge and handles as finishing touches. Trips to Europe?.....how many wine bottles will it hold before the front wheels lose contact?

Hi Stuart
Thanks to a TM member I have a Mogbox but of the Hills Alive type, must say you have taken it to another level. I am delighted with my box but yours looks so much more period. You have given me idea's for some self adhesive 'rubbing strips'. I really like the look of yours but would not need to carry a suitcase on top as I don't need that capacity but some tread rubbers stuck on the top would break up the plain area and like yours look more period. Great work sir!

I had seen a case on the back of a 1930 s car from the USA on a rack below a buddy seat. Then there is a fibreglass box which is called the mog box, came across it on the web....good idea but bland....so with time to spare...why not.
its locked onto the carrier and also strapped as wel, doesn't need the straps, but why not!
