Silver Speedster wheels

I was looking on the Speedster price list the other day (as one does) and I noticed the option for both silver and black Speedster wheels

I've just found this photo from an article on Speed Hunters which shows the Speedster with the silver Speedster wheels

I've seen the black ones which are on the demo cars but what do we think of the silver ones?

I'm not sure why but I think I prefer the black wheels. I just wish it was a decision I had to make because I had one on order!

Very nice. I usually opt for black wheels where there is a choice - practicality over aesthetics. But here the silver ones are so evocative of the Dunlop alloys fitted to Jag D types etc that I would break my habit...

In the article there is a car with '100YR WR 14 EDITION'

I may be a bit slow at the moment, but could someone translate??

Cheers,

I like them but for a personal choice I would prefer a slightly deeper dish to distinguish them from steel wheels.

Well I really can't decide whether I like them or prefer the black ones

The silver makes them look bigger, much more noticeable but flatter

Thanks. I had tried all sorts of things in my head. Nothing worked.
