Brave man driving all that distance!
I hope they hold another event later in the year, when it is a bit warmer!

It was VERY cold and bleak but well worth going. As we drove in (our 4/4 is the second from the right in the wider angle pic) we were followed by a Bugatti and an early 4/4. Not exactly an everyday occurance! The next event will be on Sunday 26th April from 10.30 to 1.30. This time there will be a small entry charge and early registration is essential as this will be a 'Drive it Day'. Registration will open 1st February.

I must say was rather dissappointed you did not come along and opted for the local option instead. Sorted the Men and boys and all that . It was cold and had one interesting moment on the A34 going back near Oxford, I changed down from 6th to 5th and hit the accelerated as I let the clutch out unfortunately I had accidentally gone into 3rd. Result was rear wheel spin and a twitching rear end at 60mph  . It was all over in 2 seconds, but a bit of a moment. Your LogMog event looked well turned out.

Between you and me, I'd have preferred to come up, but was over rulled by  who wanted the soft, more social option!! I'm beginning to discover quite a lot about "back end twitch"...The Plus 8 may have far more modern rear suspension, but in the end it has more than enough power and torque to break traction! Painted white lines are a particular thrill....
