Looks smart - you do that to the Aussie one then cover it up to keep it clean!

First impression very positive but at 2nd glance I am not so sure any more. The engine looks smaller next to the big shiny pot... The filtercover becomes very dominant.

@ Richard ...I will consider that @ Austrian: An S&S X-Wedge engine never look small ! @ Good idea Matty , it would stay more shiny, but will Nickel hold on soft aluminium? Thanks for your comments

@Smaug Did you consider to put something like Morgan wings onto the polished airfilter cover? Would maybe dissolve the pot-style of the thing. I love your polished version but something minor irritates me ( do not know exactly what it is..) Would be glad if you find the perfect solution to copy it afterwards...

Austrian, good idea , I was looking for an Morgan emblem or wings to put in front or on Top of it, but did not found it yet...that is why for the moment I glued a Harley Bar & Shield on top. If you have any ideas what to put on, be welcome @ New Road ...thanks

Hello Smaug, perhaps you could take this one: http://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/mmc/shop/index.php/lapel-badge-new-wings-large.htmlSimply take off the clip of the backside and glue it on a flat ground. I donīt know if it can be bent that much as it would be needed to match the roundness of the top of the filtercover. Kind regards, George

Hi George,
that's the good direction, but a little to small for it...thank you for the idea. I was more thinking of something about an emblem about 15 cm in lenght and 3 to 4 cm large which I can bend on top over the Aircleaner. Considering the Front there is not enough space due to the incurved middle and the 4 fixation screws
Cheers, Georges
