Getting the bonnets fitted and sorting some other interior parts.

Are the bonnet catches stainless steel if so where did you get them . Need a bit of red in for the Union Jack effect

Looking good and I also like the white wheels. Whens the big start up.

I don't think they are - they are just new... will check tomorrow.

The white wheels and white wings caused much discussion when the concept was original floated. You can see from the banner below the car was originally all blue but it did have the white interior.

The wheel/wing combo really sets the car off and has led the car to capture the name of the "mini roadster lightweight". From a distance its hard to tell the difference and the speeds are very simlar. Its only up close you can see the solid colour and that its a 4 cly.... the best bit is when the engine winds up along the back straight of Curborough and starts to sound like a big bike engine - totally smooth but with that high pitch throb coming from the 3" side exit (oh and the occasional flame on over-run!!)

Will know more at the weekend - we hope it will be next week some time - I suspec the car will be dropped off with the engine builder back end of next week and left there to fit in as necessary. It will have a full pre start check, electricals and first run, cam bedding and initial running in on the rolling road over a couple of days. Only then will the engine be tuned for performance.

Nope - zinc plated.. just new - sorry to get your hopes up.
