High Level Brake Light
This is my first attempt at posting an image so please bear with me if it goes wrong.
The Highsider brake light featured on here recently and this is an image of it fitted to replace the "cyclops" brake light.

The Highsider light unit came from Bikermart.co.uk. Go to their search facility and enter 255-905-6 and choose black or chrome. Price is under £31 all inclusive.
The electrical connector came from ADR Componants.uk their reference is 0-012-42 which is an econoseal 2 way waterproof male connector. This plugged into the loom in place of the "cyclops" male connector (2013 Plus 4).
I had to extent the cable on the Highsider unit by about 300mm to allow the luggage rack to "hinge" outwards to allow acces to the spare wheel.
The bracket is a badge bar bracket sleeved to accommodate the smaller diameter of the luggage rack bar.

One more thing, it would be an easy task to make an extension bracket to elevate the Highsider above any large size luggage on the luggage rack. I think this would be important especially when travelling in France where I understand the police insist that the high level brake light is visible at all times. Bob.

Hi Everybody. Just joined talk Mog and this is my first attempt to post a comment. I have been contemplating fitting a high level brake light to my (1997) plus 8. This looks very cool. I think I will fit one of these before my planned trip to Lemans in the summer.

I fitted one of these recently, I found a (pair of) 16mm badge bar brackets online, they are for scooters but fit the luggage rack perfectly.
