Snow

For those of you who haven't had to venture into the great wide world today, let me save you the trouble: it is chaos! arr

Some of the worst driving I have ever seen doh

Pedestrians walking in the middle of the road - brilliant decision to make when the driving conditions, in places, are akin to driving on a sheet of ice. juggle

People misjudging their speed and 4-wheel drifting around blind corners - again, in the middle of the road.

Or people in SUVs (guess what, this is why you should have bought your car) driving at 2mph and thereby creating a mobile chicane. I kid you not, I followed a person in an X5 who was doing 5mph max snow

Stay inside, if you can, and save yourself the hassle.

Just shoveled the drive with the snow shovel (we lived in Bavaria).
As always in the UK 3 inches of snow & the world stops.
Still working from home so no issue for me as long as BMI flies Wed to schiphol.
cheers

Just ventured out again and it amazes me how silent everything seems when it snows - even in the towns, the snow seems to muffle almost all the normal noises. tumbleweed

Had planned a day trip to Calais, but wimped out - a lot of snow due there as well, and although Scoobie romps through snow quite happily, usual problem is the peron in front, or closed roads. Will go out for a trundle round the lanes instead.

That doesn't surprise me... Probably does 90 in the wet down the outside lane of the motorway as well...

Ironic that just over 24hrs ago I was out in the Mog on completely dry roads and bright sunshine!

Whilst I acknowledge that this is sometimes true, I had eighteen inches of snow today with a further 10 inches forecast tonight!!

However as one old lady told me when we were busy bitching about the UK's inability to cope with eo
ither hot or cold weather.... "Well Dear, we're very good at drizzle...".

How true laugh2

Cheers
