Jade Race Drag Racing Event, Mariensiel

This weekend I visited "Jade Race", a Drag Racing Event at Mariensiel Airport, near Wilhelmshaven, North Germany. It was a real great event, many big american cars, but also a lot of german cars and some classics, too. There was even a try to make a world record for the fastest accelerating electric car, made by the university of stuttgart. Best time was 0 - 100 km/h in 1.28 secondes: not so bad ...
I wonder if a Morgan 4/4 can be used for Drag Racing - maybe next year? ;-)
