Cleaning black wire wheels
In anticipation of our likely trip back down to BHM on Saturday I thought I'd better give Mr Bumble the once over. I used Auto Finesse Mint Rim Wax, which I'd bought earlier on recommendation on TM for the filler cap. I also used a pipe cleaner type spoke cleaner, a microfibre finishing cloth, and lots of little finger exercise. I had the wheels off the ground for ease of access, but on the car.
Surprisingly the finish is much better than with spray on quick detailer which I normally use.

Very nice Dave. I have been experimenting with cleaning my black wires wheels and found that if they are not to soiled that a light spray around the rims with ACF50 and then wipe of with an old micro fibre cloth works very well, and the usual finger exercises, followed by a light application of mageuirs ultimate quick spray on detailer and then a buff up with a micro fibre.

It maybe me, are those tyres the recommended size for the rims? it could be the dressing making the photo look odd but the spinner seems to protrude really far out from the tyres.
Is it an optical illusion?

Must be an illusion Mark . Standard tyres. The spinners look big on 4/4 wheels though. Sidewalls are not usually that shiny except on Stewarts!
