Rain didn't stop play!!
Dearest husband always assured me, because of his previous open top days (pre me as well) that if you travel at a certain speed in the rain you don't get wet. Obviously forgot to factor in raindrop size! This time as well as a smiling I was laughing hysterically because of the huge drops landing on us! Pre rain we had a great run around the Cotswolds, grateful for the shady tunnels provided by the trees In today's heat. Just love being a passenger in a Morgan!! ( even a wet one  )

No just nosey and like to see who husband has annoyed by overtaking them in an 'old' car  Just watch out for the ones who go beserk and pull off some dangerous manoeuvre to re-pass you. Known in our family as the "vintage sports car challenge". I think you are correct about the drop size. Fine rain does not seem to wet the inside of the screen.

Nothing worse then hail in your lap. /glad you enjoyed it. Hail is worse, that really stings! Don't remind me!!! . Even worse with aero screens. hurts big time.

Why have you got 2 mirrors???
are you a drving school also or just to check on things when 'er in doors is driving?????

We must have missed you in the Cotswolds!
We just beat the rain home at 4pm! We first had some rain coming into Stow on the Wold from the Tewkesbury direction trying to catch sight or sound of the Vulcan. From Stow to Evesham, as our local village historic bridge is closed for repair, we did not have the option to go via Broadway, we had to head for Evesham hoping to keep moving. Approaching Evesham we got a bit wet as there were big drops and by the time we got home we were in warm sunshine. Overall a fun ride out. We did flash another Morgan going in the opposite direction along the A44. We flashed as we were under a canopy of trees at the time. We got a good wave from the driver.

We got Chunky to fit the extra mirror at Williams, MintyMog likes to see what is going on behind as we drive along. Also quite useful to point out unusual car just about to go past us.

Hail.......very painful. Earlier this year I was going to play golf.....on the M4 I hit a hail shower. Luckily I had sunglasses on! It stings a lot at Mway speed! 2 miles only luckily... Still enough time for a few expletives though.
