The flying wings

Last Saturday ... Lake "Bodensee" .... over 50 fans around the Aeromax ... opened the wings with remote control ... two wings opened ... and end up on the ground ... 50 fans looked astonished to me ... some interesting comments ... pantsdown

Let me sing:

I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly

... I forgot to say : The Aeromax is my fovorite car !

Are we sure its not MMC getting getting ready for the next Bond movie. I feel sorry for the poor sod that finds they've fitted the ejector seat in his aeromax. laugh2

Certainly not good news, did they damage the paint?

Does anyone feel, like me, that the offset number plate mount on the back of the Aeromax is really ugly, and looks like an afterthought? It really doesn't look right on a Ģ150k car.

I can't see what else they could have done.

I personally like it but can appreciate that it won't be to everyone's taste...

I think the glue is the problem ! The Friday yourney to Lake Bodensee was very fast (Top speed). I wondered about some wind noises and stopped , opened the winged windows , all was perfect. The noises stayed. Saturday was a hot und sunny day. The Aeromax parks 4 hours in the sun. I opened the winged windows in front of the car , a queer sounding noise followed. Both windows ended up demaged on the ground. They damaged the paint on the complete rear side and the number plate. scared

MMC informed my dealer that there are problems .
Dmat : I think itīs not the hinges , they are running perfect. Itīs the glue between hinges and the windows. Itīs a bit of a problem with an unpleasant result.
However: The Aeromax production quality is convincing. notworthy

Must have been pretty embarrassing to have windows falling out, especially in front of the admiring crowds doh

I've never met you, but you sound like an understanding, and generally great person......I'm sure I would have curled up with embarrasment. blush.... and anger. mad...... Well done for your composure.
