many thanks for the flowers grin2

the boats casco is steel up to the teak/alu fender rail , above complete stainless steel.
Yes, i wanted a spoiler ! it is made of ( stainless) steel plate 3 mm... conical in both planes...and above going over to a horizontal box section ...on the boat is my second one, i couldn't get the first right. laugh
It's in the first place for hoisting the annex rigid and ofcourse for horn, antennas, radio, radar, shower .. etc.

place to be : Cogolin , bassin Brigantine, W9

and yes, where was i 20 years ago ?? i think then i must have became crazy , i'm used to it now , doesn't hurt grin2

design is mine, OK, one takes alot ideas of excisting boats . I didn't invent it ...

The bulbous bow was fitted in the end to create more lift at the bow. Design idea was to eventually ballast the skeg ( holding the rudder) to get the boat level...but as we ended already that heavy i opted to get more lift at the bow. We won't profit from it as fuel consumption i think,( 2 engines of 100 HP) but isn't bad either .. longer water lenght ( potential casco speed ? ) , much more space for anchor chains,( and that weight deep down ) more "arm" lenght for the bow thruster and still within the boats deck lenght.

and it's easy fixed grin2 a tube dia 900 , a cone 900/700 and a sfere dia 700... stainless 6 mm. hahahhha

Agreed.

Barry, are you sure you haven't added some underwater protection - torpedoes perhaps? - that would explain the bulbous bow. grin2

"Will it fit your garage?"

No.

That's a fine-looking boat.
