West Wales

Just got back from a fantastic week touring West Wales and Pembrokeshire. Scampi (our co pilot) attracted a lot of attention wherever we arrived at. Clocked up another 600 miles in the Mapmog on well maintained, quiet and twisting roads over hill and dale.

I cannot think of a more exciting car to tour in than 'The Mapmog',we had so much fun and met so many nice people. The car was left outside our holiday cottage in the evenings and it was interesting to hear what passers by said about it. Here are a few quotes:-

"looks like a replica of a Morgan"
"its in great condition for a 58 plate"
"wonder how long it took him to build it?"
"its definitely a Messerschmitt!"

When I was outside packing up the luggage rack to return home a dog walker said the nicest comment of all.

"I will miss seeing that little car every morning, it always makes me smile"

Only the Morgan Three Wheeler can have this effect on all that see it. Well almost........there is always a Messerschmitt!

Marvellous pictures. Well done! I notice that you have a modified windsceen. Is it effective? Where did you have it fitted?

Thanks for all the comments folks!

I just hope such pictures encourage others who have found TM and are thinking of buying a M3W that its worth every penny, we are having so much more fun in it than a similar priced 'normal' sports car.

Whilst the Standard Aero Screens fitted to the car are fine and look good (apart from a batch made with much shorter ones in about June 2015) we wanted something more suitable for touring. I must say its transformed the comfort of driving in all weathers without taking anything away from the fresh air experience. It was fairly easy to fit too.

Great pics Mapman and great reactions. I really want to get down to SW Wales and your pics just confirm how lovely it looks.

You missed me!!!!

In your photograph taken in the car park at Lower Town, Fishguard there is another mid-grey M3W parked behind the white van in the distance and its owner is busily mooring his boat in the harbour. You left before I could get ashore.
