Weissman test drive at GT3 Portugal
Got to do a trade with Weissman for a little while and drove the safety car whilst the test driver for Weissman drove my Aero.
Interesting and different but prefer the Aero. V10 doesn't sound that great. Hope to get a go in the V8 later which has the 4.8 engine.

Did the test driver say what he thought of the Aero ?
I am quite a fan of the Weissman. That safty car looks like a crib of a 911, very nice, but given a choice Aero 1st, 911 2nd, and Weissman 3rd.

Ian, in your first photo, is that Phil working his 'detail' magic on your Aero?
Great opportunity to experience another low volume, BMW powered, vehicle. Even so, I just can't get to grips with the styling of the Weissman - they always look like they have the melted front end of a TVR and the droopy rump is possibly the least attractive rear on the road.

The weissman has a terrible gearbox. Typicasl older style sequential. Hit the paddle or use the regular shifter and there is a horrible delay between the changes, nothing like the aero.
The driver liked the Aero, especially the sound as the V10 is quiet. He said that many customers prefer the V8 sound over the V10. Don't notice the difference in bhp either considering the V10 is over 500.

The cars are here all week (till the FIA GT1/2 race next weekend). I will try and get some impressions from them too and see what the Weissmann guys think of my S1. He did say he prefered the looks of my S1 to the S4.
