Missing paint
I'll be the first to admit that this is not the most pressing problem, but I have lost a tiny area of paint from my cowl badge. It’s not important enough to buy a new badge, so – assuming these badges are standard on c.2010 trads - does anyone have a paint reference? Probably not, and it’s probably not worth buying any quantity for what will be one dab with a modeller’s fine paintbrush. So back to trawling the Humbrol mini-tin colour range…

All the paint on mine has peeled off - so now have a silver cowl badge!
From what I have heard, replacements also peel away over time.
Cheers

It's one of those cases of ... ... They all do that SirMy car is from 2010 also and the badge lost chunks of paint at an alarming rate. When I visited the factory in Feb 2014 I took the opportunity to buy a replacement badge, fitted a couple of months later. (see link below) Badges This second badge has 2 years of running, many miles already (including a trip to Shelsley Wash and back last year) but so far it's still perfect. Maybe 2010 was a bad year for Morgan bagde-making.

Humbrol black seems favourite Not on mine, John. Closest was 67 Tank Grey, or 79 Blue Grey. Tried both and when in situ nowhere near! All the paint on mine has peeled off - so now have a silver cowl badge! I think that's the way to go.

Wonder why this has not been sorted by now. I had mine changed under warranty. The new one lasted 3 weeks, so now have a silver one too. Now 3 years old.
