The NEC Classic Show
A great day out at the Classic Car Show at the NEC today, meeting up with some TMers.
I brought along a friend of mine, Eric, who thinks he's a bit of an expert (read anorak) on Morgans, to have a look at them and he was keen to meet up with DaveW.
I rarely take him out to these sort of events as he can get a bit excitable but apart from having to drag him past some of the girls on the Classic Mags stands, he sort of behaved himself.

Eric - what a player! He sure knows a thing or two about Morgans. He told me with authority that Morgans have a wooden chassis.  Very well done SBM. Great too to meet up with and chat to 12 other TMers The Stand I thought was very good - a Celebration of the 4/4. Well done to Phil Royale and his Team. What a Show - some amazing cars.  I peeked inside a Capri and a Granada. The latter being the exact model I had in 1984. Just looking in took me back 32 years - happy memories!My son was almost born in the footwell of that car - 32 years ago today!But just made it to the Hospital in time!  Whilst I know that MG and Triumph have many "Clubs" it was quite interesting to see them all displayed. The result of split ups over the decades??
