The NEC Classic Show
A great day out at the Classic Car Show at the NEC today, meeting up with some TMers.
I brought along a friend of mine, Eric, who thinks he's a bit of an expert (read anorak) on Morgans, to have a look at them and he was keen to meet up with DaveW.
I rarely take him out to these sort of events as he can get a bit excitable but apart from having to drag him past some of the girls on the Classic Mags stands, he sort of behaved himself.

Chatting with Eric afterwards, he told he was very impressed with the show and was quite pleasantly surprised with the cars on the stand.
I hadn't realised, but he's a member of The Worshipful Company of Experts, too. They apparently have their roots back in the middle ages, where traditionally members would go around checking the quality of carriage hinges. Interesting character.

I was naive enough (for a moment at least) to believe that this character was real.
Have you ever thought of building a stand-up routine Steve based on this reboot of Benny (Hillclimb)?
It will go down a treat in the TM gazebo at MOG17!

However I am confused about "expert" since I was once told that it derrives from ex as in has been and spurt as in drip under pressure
