Ouch! I know chassis do crack occasionally, but that looks disturbing  . Not seen them crack there before. How old was the car? Spent quite a lot of time trying to sort out why RTA would drive fine for a period, then suddenly take on St. Morgan's dance. Eventually sorted by Tim/Darren at New Elms - later model gusset plates (can is say that here  ?) welded into chssis at the front, to replace the old, short versions, which were being forced away from the Z section by rust... Probably due to the fine potholes joined up by bits of tarmac that Bucks boasts as roads these days!

In theory it should have been found at the last MOT, so it could be less than 12 months old. What's interesting is how it's separated so there's some tension and stress for some reason. I wonder if it had a knock on that side 'earlier'.
