The Best Never Rest
In 2018 it will be 50 years since the first Plus 8 appeared.
To mark this milestone the team at Morgan Car Badges have released a special one.....
As the rather proud owner of what may well be the last series of the Morgan Plus 8 I wanted an example... the design and the sentiment of the badge really appeal to me.
SO, I ordered on and it has arrived.... the photo doesn't do it justice, at all!
It will go "front and centre" on my badge bar, but not before 1 January 2018!

I would have thought so! So would I, but the very limited supply of V8 motors would seem to make it unlikely. Sad.

You needn't wait until 2018, the prototype was built on a 1967 Morgan +4 (possibly even '66.) Peter, I issued special certificates (with a mini booklet on the history of the Proto +8) for the gilt badges and USA ones as well. You certainly deserve one. If you would PM me with your mailing address, I would like to send one to you as well...anybody else on TM who has one of these badges can do likewise. I received mine here in California on Saturday, just in time to present to Bill Fink on Father's Day. He had no idea this was in the works...I had his stamped with #61 in honor of his Morgan.
