Interesting... Can you identify a couple of these? What is the black single-seater - Delage? What is the blue 'Bugatti'? (It doesn't look quite right!)

The dark coloured one is a recent recreation of a Bugatti type...
The blue Bugatti is the real thing with a Jaguar XK120 engine installed I believe in the early 50's by the Roycroft family.
Both seen running in a hillclimb last month.

Interesting - thanks.

I suppose one day someone with a tall stack of spare cash will convert this Buguar/Jagatti back to full Bugattiness with a Pur Sang engine.

Memory coming back, the dark one is a recreation of a Type 59/50s 1935 apparently a T54 engine in a T59 chassis

The proper blue one is a 1925 Type 35A raced in the UK in the 20s and thirties coming to NZ in 1947 .
A number of people from Europe have visited the Roycrofts over the years to try and purchase various Bugattis and parts particularly in the late 80,s

The black car is a fascinating concoction. I bet they are both pretty quick.
