Ecoboost Plus 4 road testing

I believe there is part 1 of our two part feature on the "Plus 4 Plus" in February's Miscellany. Copy for that was sent in some weeks ago so it's a bit out of date. Here's the latest with pic of the final installation. Road testing has been very successful (despite icy weather), emissions are very clean and well within MOT limits, we will need to put on a few hundred miles before final rolling road testing and mixture tweeking but we already know we have a very flat torque curve of around 250 ftlbs from 2k rpm to 5k rpm. Given free-flow 200 cell cat and more efficient air intake system we expect to see at least the standard Focus St's 250 max bhp. All GDI Plus 4 instrumentation/warning lights etc working as standard. First 100 miles averaging about 32 mpg. Think it's safe to put the bonnet back on now!

Wow, 250bhp and 250ft-lb, that's a very impressive result, and a very neat installation as well. A seriously impressive project, you must be very pleased.
