I drive my car, same as yours, like that most of the time. Have to keep the sun of my head. The fun starts if caught in a shower....
If you are doing nothing, how do you know when you are finished?

 Drive mine like that quite often. Unfortunately, it is rarely necessary to keep the sun off!

We passed an old (30's)Talbot on the A419 near Swindon yesterday with hood up but no sidescreens. Four seater tourer body by the look, in dark blue. I was quite envious.
Also saw a pale blue/green metallic Roadster or Plus 8 in Marlborough on the main street on Saturday about 0945 - in the rain.......

Ideal would be, if one could also unzip and remove the rear window.

I agree, I used to love driving my Spitfire with the rear screen unzipped. I would have thought it would be a fairly simple modification at the factory.

How breezy is this? Are wind deflectors of benefit? I was thinking of some sunny touring this summer, but am concerned about the strength of the sun.
