Hi Barry,
A bit late but we were on holiday in the UK. Back home since yesterday night.
Have you tried Belgomog in Lier?

Hi Barry
How about an update on the boat ? Hi Giles, with boat all good, but back in our harbor Blankenberge Belgium. We are one of the "victims" of maffia Sud France....the community confiscated end 2017 the complete harbor 2 years earlier than the concession we bought at Marines de Cogolin ! O yes, we could rent again ...at 15K /year or buy again for 20 years , in that case we got the 2 years back as "gift"... so a gift for year 2038 and 2039 .... Oh, and you cannot buy/sell moorings private anymore….you can only give it back at the community ! ( And they will decide each year what your mooring is still worth… hahahaha ) Has been a expensive joke.... PS we also have seen the weather over there each year worse….. we could sail for 2 days and shelter a week for 6...8 beaufort. It's even no more worth that money …. i heard many complain. 30 years ago i went each year over there with a small boat and didn't even look at "meteo". Never had a problem. Now it's every day watching meteo …..also the reason of the many fires around there…..dry and wind, a lot of wind.

How frustrating for you. Sadly, there are a lot of bandits in the South of France; they are more latin in character than the Northern French. You should try racing against them. Some of them display the most flagrant disregard for the racing rules I've come across in years of yacht racing. As to the conditions, I've always maintained that the problem with the Med tends to be that there's either no wind or too much, and when it is rough the seas are very short and extremely unpleasant. Having said all that, I still enjoy sailing down there....

yes Giles, it's nice out there ….. for a few weeks if you are lucky ( moderate wind) … not for us, being there 5 times "5" weeks a year… if not the flavour of forest burns in summer …. No, we have seen it , know it by now …. and finished. For maintenance etc... it is as you have a sticker on your head " dumb and rich" being boat owner. No longer with me ! PS St Tropez is nice to visit once…. not a hundred times…..

Engine is back in ! Thanks to Simon H i got clutch kit and new radiator yesterday but it was to hot in the garage to do anything. Today ( rain ) it was better so i started in the evening. Spigot bearing was a bit a mess to get it out and also to get the engine on the box. But in the end it clicked together after wiggling , up and down, turning … Tomorrow i can start bolting up all connections before and after the F1
