65 Plus 4 gas cap and new luggage
New pictures including a gas cap with the retaining chain. The black suitcase just arrived from Malvern courtesy of some good friends.

Very nice. Car builder solutions have some ideas on their website of fitting the chain on a modern cap.

Sorry to be negative, but those suitcases are more style than practicality. They are more a trunk than a suitcase - hence the handles on the ends. Empty, they are heavy. Full, and I have seen a couple truly struggle to carry it once they got it off the luggage rack (suitcases are made with integral wheels now, you know...). And be careful of the extra weight on the back; as you pull off the drive, cross the gutter, and go up the slight rise onto the road it is very easy to ground the bottom of the exhaust pipe or the spare wheel carrier.

I think the suitcase is very stylish and adds to your nice car. I would like one but baulk at the cost!!!!

I like the look of them but watching friends struggle to carry them off the car put me off. Plus I must admit the price.

Fortunately it was a gift, so the cost never entered my mind. I'll hardly ever take it off though. It's primary purpose for me is a functional boot. Spare parts and tools, plus a few props and convenience items.
