Custom engine cover

As has been reported on the distribution list...perhaps beaten to death there....we are still waiting for the Department of Transportation in Pennsylvania to process the paperwork submitted by the dealer. The car is NOT legal to drive until such time as PENN DOT gives their approval/blessing.

SO.... while there remains a couple of minor items to add/attach to the car, he (William the Wanderer) is operational in every way...(well, every way except to be on the road.)

Once I got some instruction of the definition it was clear....here, in the US, we have modified that...somewhat...."Brass Balls"...as in he has brass balls to do that....or it took brass balls to do that....OR, he must have huge brass balls....clangers...

As TM regulars would expect...the thread of Dog's dangles has grown into a full blown topic....I've gotten some suggestions, via PM, as to what might be appropriate with regard to William the Wanderer exhibiting his gender....for those not familiar with some of our rural areas...guys buy these huge pick up trucks, jack them up, add all sorts of off road equipment to them....including gun racks...and some...find brass balls, about the size of a baseball....and hang them at the rear of their truck...between the rear wheels.

It was suggested that I obtain a set and add them to WW. After thoughtful deliberation, and consulting with the spousal unit, the determination was made that while WW is clearly male, he is secure enough in his masculinity that he does not need to put his brass balls on display.

Brass balls.......the reason the OrangUtang got it’s name. They have danglies made of brass.
As it swings through the trees they make that sound when they hit each other.

Looks very good, script badges are a nice addition.

BertR...thanks, I'd love to take credit for the design/look of it...but my only contribution was to suggest to the dealer,(Morgan cars Mid-Atlantic) as they have the equipment to fabricate it, that they come up with an attractive way of covering the engine....and that it be easily removed for any engine service. As they restore cars, in addition to selling Morgan's, they had the gear, and clearly the vision, to make it happen.

OH...wait, I did make another contribution, besides the idea.....the money to pay for it.

Does that cover make the engine run too hot?

I ran a cover on my Duratec with a front enclosure, and have one on my GDI and providing there's an air gap, which I have, it makes no difference.
