Marty's New Stable Mate
My beautiful Plus 4 (Marty) now has an equally stunning stable mate in a 2012 Triumph Bonneville T100 with less than 3000 miles and in a gorgeous colour - real retro with modern mechanics.
I feel I now have the best of both worlds in 2 and 4 wheels (IMHO)

Looks lovely. I had a T120 cafe racer when younger and then a T160 Trident which I miss still. For Morganeers, (both 2 and 4 wheel variety), the Hinckley factory tour is a good day out. Fascinating stuff to see on the shop floor and then an excellent small museum.

I had one, back in 2002
Smashing bikes, utterly reliable.
The only weak spot is the ignition module on the pre EFI bikes, no longer available from Triumph, but there are plenty of after market alternatives.
The engine is just about everlasting, I know of a number that have exceeded 200,000 miles without any work, other routine maintenance.
So, who was the cruel, heartless previous owner that locked up that beauty for so long that she has barely seen the light of day?
One final comment: PLEASE replace the tyres, at 8 years old they will be hard and will not grip, even if they have plenty of tread. Also, tyre technology has moved on!

Hi Peter J - It was part of his collection which included 3 x 50's and 60's BMW's. He bought the Bonnie brand new but after 8 years of ownership finally decided to part with it as he preferred the older (Less reliable) German bikes!!!!
Looking forward to alternating ride outs and drive outs in the Plus 4 & T100, especially around the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside where I live!!!!!
