Just Getting Started
Spotted in Tyler's Green

Came across this beauty yesterday, very nice example of an early Plus 8 narrow body.

The windscreen setup is unusual, never seen one like this before, kinda cool.

No door handles!

Also what looked like a stainless steel petrol tank just about visible under the spare tyre

Folding windscreen. Several accessory manufacturers made those parts to fold down the standard screen. Wont fit later model cars though.

Whats a door handle and why would you need one??

The license plate is 1975 but the rear lights are from 68-71. I suppose it could be a vanity plate.

For getting into the car in the dark, in an unlit car park, in the pouring rain, whilst gloved, overcoated and carrying a laptop and a brief case.

(Thank heavens for retirement)
